The team
Our Engineering team focuses on enabling our client’s end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of: Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. We help our clients see the transformational capabilities of Cloud as an opportunity for business enablement and competitive advantage.

Cloud Engineering supports our clients as they improve agility, resiliency and identifying opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. We accelerate our client’s journey towards a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions and Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators.


Your work profile

As a Consultant in our Engineering Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: –

Your main responsibilities will be:

You will support our clients as they improve agility, resiliency and identifying opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. Accelerate accelerate our client’s journey towards a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions and Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators.

Desired qualifications

Experience – 4 to 5 Years

  • Proficiency in working with global and local teams, working in a collaborative agile environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Java, J2EE, spring framework.
  • Excellent knowledge on GCP Cloud offering for managed services like Storage, Kubernetes etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of spring boot and hibernate platform.
  • Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS & JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS and Angular 5/8), CSS frameworks.
  • Excellent knowledge of cross-platform and native mobile frameworks (Ionic, Apache Cordova, iOS, Android).
  • Excellent knowledge of web servers (Apache), testing & debugging e2e.
  • Excellent knowledge of Webservices (SOAP/REST), messaging (JMS/MQ), database (Oracle/MySQL etc), batch processing, security concepts, application servers (Tomcat/Wildfly etc), testing & debugging e2e.
  • Experience in Content Management like Documentum, Filenet would be a preference.
  • DevOps and problem-oriented mind-set.
  • Functional design, technical design and programming of new projects, enhancements, maintenance and troubleshooting of a specific set of applications, following IT Application Life Cycle standards aligned with technology strategy.

Location and way of working

  • Base location: Pune
  • This profile does not involve extensive travel for work.
