Job Description

ServiceNow Senior Developer/Tech Lead:

Roles & Responsibilities include:

  • At least 8+ years of experience in  ITSM, ITBM, HRSD Business Process Consulting, implementation in ServiceNow, Architecture/Design / end to end platform roll out.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of core ITIL processes (CMDB, Incident, Problem, and Change) 
  • Works with internal process managers and ServiceNow administrators to implement and support all ServiceNow modules
  • Sound knowledge of Service Now application(s) integration with third party systems/applications.
  • Ability to take initiative to identify the work required and either organising, facilitating or performing the work
  • Knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture as well as experience managing expectations and priorities. Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering a solution that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities
  • Participates in the configuration of new applications or suites during planning, development, and rollout phases
  • Contributes to the strategic development of new platform customizations, as needed, based on customer needs
  • Participates in the collection and implementation of tool requirements and investigates as necessary to determine the best solution or configuration options available based on the specific requirement
  • Lead, mentor and manage team of ServiceNow support analyst and engineers.
  • Oversee the resolution of technical incident and service request within the SLA.
  • Ensure root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and implement preventive measures.

Skills Required:

  • Should be able to lead and manage a team.
  • Hands-on experience with Glide Script, JavaScript, XML, JSON and Web Service APIs.
  • Able to understand & parse XML, JSON and other data formats.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, AngularJS, Bootstrap coding.
  • Experience on server side, client side & service portal way of coding of ServiceNow. 
  • Certification: Must have
  • ServiceNow Admin Certified. 
  • ServiceNow Implementation specialist in ITSM.
  • ITIL Foundation.
