Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Software Engineer with 15 to 19 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in GitLab CI/CD Jira Confluence and Release Management. This role involves leading software development projects ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes and contributing to the overall success of our technology initiatives.

ResponsibilitiesLead the design development and implementation of software solutions to meet business requirements.Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.Ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery using GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.Manage and optimize release processes to ensure timely and efficient software delivery.Utilize Jira for project tracking and Confluence for documentation to maintain clear and organized workflows.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues ensuring minimal disruption to development processes.Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality and reliability.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates and gather feedback.Contribute to the strategic planning of technology initiatives to align with business goals.

QualificationsPossess extensive experience with GitLab for version control and CI/CD pipelines.Demonstrate proficiency in Jira for project management and Confluence for documentation.Have a strong background in release management and software deployment processes.Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Show a proven track record of leading software development projects and mentoring junior engineers.Display strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
