Position Summary:

Software Engineer position requires knowledge and expertise in designing and implementing automated operational engineering/DevOps solutions for large and complex projects. You will also be involved in improvement initiatives within the Cognizant community that inspire improvement across our DevOps, and Salesforce culture. This role needs to create solution for the test data management and provide user story details for development of API, UI and create Scripts in server, build and deploy plans for the services for automatic deployment using spring boot and Java.

Mandatory Skills:

· Core Knowledge on Telecom and Retail Products such as Siebel CRM and Salesforce CRM and Splunk, OMFUL, AXIS, AUTOCAT, Promise, LISA, Kenan.

· SME in MAXIM, Salesforce, and SAP application with E2E Knowledge on customer applications including MAXIM, Siebel, Kenan, OMFUL/Orchestration, MMF, LOMS, RIMS and other Order Journey applications.

· Highly detailed oriented ability on Implementation of SOA & Micro services, REST Services Development

· Must be proficient in Hibernate / JPA, SOAP, REST and Spring Concepts (Cloud, Security, AOP, Vault).

· Knowledge on AWS Component Usage, Configurations and Deployment – Elasticsearch, EC2, S3, SNS, SQS, API Gateway and Service, Kinesis.

· Strong Knowledge on AWS Development using Lambda, Spring Boot.

· Strong Knowledge in Selenium API automation scripts for CI/CD.

· Knowledge in SFDC Admin to support deployment and bug fixes.

· Knowledge on customer applications including MAXIM, Siebel,

· Strong Knowledge of Hadoop and HVR technologies as a Big Data Hadoop Developer.

· Ability to work in Agile and Waterfall models with knowledge in test management tools such as JIRA, Confluence and HPALM/QC.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance.
  • Working with squad, other teams, and business services to define and deliver a radically improved Digital experience for our customers.
  • Build individual microservices and based on the type of order comes from user, defined the orchestration service to pick and execute the business events.
  • Implementing software solutions by conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and technical specifications in accordance with quality standards.
  • Writing well designed, testable and efficient code.
  • Perform configuration and customization of the application platform using Hibernate / JPA, SOAP, REST and Spring Concepts (Cloud, Security, AOP, Vault).
  • Implement of SOA & Micro services, REST Services Development.
  • Implementing Jenkins, Git, Bamboo etc. tools to deploy code and defect fixes in different environments.
  • Moving the code from test to Production environments once the code is tested successfully in each release.

Qualifications & Certifications:

· SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Sales

· Scrum Foundation Professional Certification

· SAFe Scrum Master 6.0

Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000
