About the team:

The FIS Public Cloud team at FIS builds and maintains cloud deployed environments within Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS and Google Cloud.  We are looking for a talented resource, who is comfortable working multiple, exciting projects at a time.   One who desires to be a part of this global dynamic engineering team where they will grow personally, technically, and professionally

What you will be doing:.

  • Modernize infrastructure in Public Cloud to ensure adherence to latest cloud standards, improve security posture, and optimize costs.
  • Develop automation to upgrade Terraform code across multiple environments.
  • Create and deploy Sentinel policy, Azure Policy, and AWS SCPs to improve compliance.
  • Define and document requirements through application team interviews combined with your experience.
  • Define and document system architecture and design.
  • Assess, apply, and project the impact of system changes on users and internal and external clients or stakeholders

What you bring:.

  • 6+ years designing and developing infrastructure solutions for Azure Cloud and AWS Cloud
  • 2+ years of Hashicorp Terraform development (or equivalent) with key understanding in these critical  areas
  • Strong understanding of security best practices in Public Cloud and experience with implementing policy controls in cloud environments
  • 2+ years of coding solutions and scripting processes for automation.
  • 1+ years deploying Containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
